Check In & Check Out:
Check-in time is at 2:00 pm. Should your arrival be expected after 6:00 pm, please notify our reception in advance so we can arrange a late check-in.
Check-out time is at 10:00 am. If you need to depart early, you are welcome to leave your room key in the Key Box located near the reception area for your convenience.
Tea and Coffee Amenities:
During your stay, we want you to feel completely at home. We’ve provided complimentary tea and coffee supplies in your unit, so please help yourself to anything you need for your morning cuppa or afternoon pick-me-up. If you prefer fresh milk in your tea or coffee, feel free to drop by our reception area and say hello. Our team will happily provide you with fresh milk to make your beverage even more enjoyable.
Air Conditioning and Heating:
Our units are equipped with reverse-cycle air conditioning featuring a remote control. To operate, please ensure the remote control is pointed toward the unit and turned on. Allow approximately 5 minutes for the unit to reach the desired heating or cooling temperature. You can use the mode button to adjust temperature settings as needed and fine-tune your comfort using the arrow buttons.
For optimal performance and to prevent issues, we kindly request that you refrain from operating the air conditioner at temperatures below 20 degrees, as this may lead to freezing and system malfunction.
Room Noise:
At our hotel, we strive to create a peaceful and relaxing environment for all of our guests. With this in mind, we kindly request that you keep the volume of your television and music at a minimum level during your stay. We understand that everyone has different preferences regarding noise levels, and we want to ensure that everyone can enjoy their stay with us. You’ll help us create a comfortable and welcoming atmosphere for all by keeping the volume down to a reasonable level. Thank you for your understanding and cooperation.
Housekeeping Information:
Our housekeeping team will service your room every day. If you’re staying with us for an extended period, we’ll change your sheets every 7 days to ensure you’re comfortable.

Pool:
The pool operating hours are from 8:00 am to 9:00 pm daily. Complimentary pool towels can be obtained at the reception desk.
Parents are kindly requested to ensure the safety of their children. Children under the age of 12 must be accompanied by an adult and supervised at all times while in the pool area. Please adhere to the pool rules, including the strict prohibition of glass objects within this vicinity.

Guest Laundry Facilities:
Our guest laundry, situated behind room 6 and across from room 7, provides a washing machine with complimentary laundry detergent and a dryer for your convenience. These amenities are offered free of charge to our guests. You will also find an iron and ironing board in the cupboard within your room.
BBQ Facilities:
We provide a communal barbecue for our guests to use, which is conveniently located near the pool area. You’re welcome to use it to create delicious meals during your stay. We provide all the necessary equipment to enhance your cooking experience.
Parking:
Kindly park in front of your unit. If you need space for trailers, we’ve got plenty of parking available.

At Bushman’s Motor Inn, we are committed to providing our guests with a safe and comfortable stay. However, we understand that belongings may sometimes be misplaced or left behind. To address these situations, we have implemented the following Lost Property Policy.
Notification:
If you believe you have left an item behind during your stay, please contact our front desk as soon as possible. You can reach us at 68622199.
Inventory and Storage:
Once notified, our staff will make every effort to locate and secure your lost item and place it in our lost and found storage.
Claiming Lost Property:
To retrieve your lost item, please visit our front desk or contact us to arrange for its return. Proper identification may be required.
Storage Duration:
We will make our best effort to hold onto lost items for a period of 30 days from the date of your departure. After this period, unclaimed items may be donated, disposed of, or turned over to local authorities in accordance with applicable laws and regulations.
Fees:
You may be responsible for any shipping or handling fees for the return of lost items. We will provide you with the details of these costs.
Liability:
Bushman’s Motor Inn is not responsible for any lost items or belongings during your stay. We recommend that you take all necessary precautions to safeguard your possessions.
Valuables:
Please be advised that we are unable to accept responsibility for valuable items such as cash, jewellery, or important documents.
We understand the importance of personal belongings and will do our utmost to assist in reuniting you with your lost items. Our goal is to ensure a hassle-free resolution for our valued guests. Memorial Hill Lookout
Bushman Street (2km from Bushman’s)
Memorial Hill provides the best vantage point for magnificent views over Parkes and the surrounding farmlands. It is the most visible landmark in town, with its 33-metre-high Shrine of Remembrance standing tall over Parkes.
The hill offers the opportunity for a leisurely bush walk around the monument surrounds, a picnic in Rotary Park, and an adventure playground on the hill’s northern side.
Vehicle access to the top is available during daylight hours. Pedestrian access is unlimited.
Kelly Reserve

Get some great photos with the 3075 ‘S’ Class steam locomotive which stands as a memorial to the magnificent contribution made by the railway pioneers of Parkes. Reminisce at the Elvis Wall of Fame, showcasing a history of Australia’s most iconic entertainers.

Bushman’s Hill Reserve
Newell Highway near the Visitor Information Centre (1km from Bushmans)
Visit the site of one of Parkes’ first gold mines, which operated over 100 years ago. Bushman’s Hill is an enjoyable place to take a walk, with walking tracks to the top of the hill passing by some interesting historical relics.
The site is also home to the Wiradjuri Ampitheatre and Garradyang Garden. The Garradyang Cultural Garden was designed by local landscape designer, Elizabeth Briton, the garden showcases plants commonly used by the Wiradjuri people in their day to day life for food, medicine, tool making and other purposes. The design and choice of plants was overseen by a working group compromising local Wiradjuri residents and council staff passionate about raising awareness for Wiradjuri history and culture.
Goobang National Park
Goobang National Park, one of the state’s newest National Parks is located 30 kilometres north-east of Parkes. It is approximately 42,600 hectares in size, 55 kilometres long and ranges in width from 200 metres to 20 kilometres, forming the largest area of remnant vegetation in the Central West of New South Wales.
The Park incorporates Hervey, Curumbenya and Bumberry mountain ranges and surrounding country. Travellers on the Newell Highway between Tomingley and Parkes can see the park to the east. Goobang National Park can be accessed via a number of roads, including the Tomingley-Yeoval Road in the north, the Parkes-Manildra Road in the south and from Peak Hill along the Baldry Road.
